After a PLATIT coating unit is sold, the information is entered into an online service database, and the access data is sent to the customer. In online service database, customers will find information on spare parts, drawings, service history, service status of their machine and contact data of their technical advisor to enable targeted problem solving.

Replacement of all wearing parts to bring the cathode up to date
Checking of the mechanical functions, adjusting the magnetic field, and installation of the new target
After a long-term vacuum testing, the cathode is examined under industrial production conditions.
The cathode is reused only when optimum burn-in can be guaranteed.
